Description: cup, vase painting, red figured, Attica – Material: terracotta – Artist: Makron and Hieron – Dating: -490/-480 – Discovery: Vulci – Description: Innenbild: Ein Satyr spielt auf Doppelflöte vor Dionysos (Weinranken, Kranz, Thyrsos); Aussenbild: Dionysos-Maskenidol mit Weinreben, auf die Opferkuchen gesteckt sind, neben rechteckigem Blockaltar in Seitenansicht (Basis, Blutspur, Deckplatte mit Kymation, Giebel mit Volutenenden und Palmettenakroter, Darstellung im Tympanon: thronender Dionysos von Palmetten flankiert); tanzende Mänaden mit Doppelflöte, Thyrsos, Skyphos, Krotalon. Eine Mänade hält ein Rehkitz (?). Unter einem Henkel befindet sich ein Kolonettenkrater mit Efeuranken. Zuordnung zu Fest: Lenaia (Simon, Parke); Anthesteria (Burkert); Dionysos-Fest allgemein (Frontisi-Ducroux). – Inscriptions: Hieron epoiesen.
