Description: crater: bell crater, vase painting, red figured, Apulia – Material: terracotta – Artist: Ilioupersis Painter – Dating: -360/-340 – Discovery: Armento – Description: Opferszene an einem Altar: Herakles hält ein Messer über den Kopf eines Stieres, den eine Nike gerade mit einem Kranz mit stemmata schmückt. R. eine junge Frau mit einer Kanne und einem Kanoun mit zwei Griffen, in dem drei Zweige (zwei noch sichtbar) stecken. Niedriger, rechteckiger Altar auf zweistufiger Basis, mit Kymation verzierte Deckplatte, Windschutz beiderseits, zu erkennen sind ausserdem Aschenreste, Blutspuren und ein Feuer. Über der Szene zwei Stierschädel mit stemmata.

Description: crater: column crater, vase painting, black figured, Attica – Material: terracotta – Dating: -525/-475 – Discovery: (not specified) – Description: A: Rechts Herme (nach r. gewandt, auf Basis, ithyphallisch), hinter ihr eine Tänie an der Wand. Mittig rechteckiger Blockaltar mit Deckplatte und grossem Feuer, in das ein Splanchnoptes einen obelos hält. Neben ihm am Boden ein kanoun. Ganz links ein mit einem chiton bekleideter Mann, der auf einem kleinen Tisch Fleischstücke mit einem Messer zerteilt. Unter dem Tisch liegt möglicherweise der Kopf des Tieres. An der Wand hängen 2 Tierschenkel.
