Tiefe Vorhalle mit 6 korinthischen Säulen (nur 4 erhalten), dahinter ummauerte Cella mit grosser Tür an der Frontseite (nur Rahmen, keine Türflügel sichtbar). 3-Faszien-Architrav, Zahnschnitt, figürliche Darstellung im Giebelfeld, verzierte Sima, Akrotere, Palmettenantefixe, detailgetreue Darstellung der Dachziegeln. Das Bildprogramm des Giebelfeldes lässt auf eine Wiedergabe des augusteischen Magna Mater-Tempels auf dem Palatin schliessen.

Description: frieze, relief, Roman – Material: marble – Dating: 41/54 – Discovery: (not specified) – Description: Im Vordergrund: zwei victimarii, die einen Stier zum Opfer führen (mit charakteristischem Schmuck). Im Hintergrund ein Tempel auf sehr hohem Podium (15 Stufen) in Übereckansicht. Tiefe Vorhalle mit 6 korinthischen Säulen (nur 4 erhalten), dahinter ummauerte Cella mit grosser Tür an der Frontseite (nur Rahmen, keine Türflügel sichtbar). 3-Faszien-Architrav, Zahnschnitt, figürliche Darstellung im Giebelfeld, verzierte Sima, Akrotere, Palmettenantefixe, detailgetreue Darstellung der Dachziegeln. Das Bildprogramm des Giebelfeldes lässt auf eine Wiedergabe des augusteischen Magna Mater-Tempels auf dem Palatin schliessen.
