Sie wird rechts von drei Amoren/Eroten bedrängt, von denen der unterste ihr Gewand am Oberschenkel, der mittlere ihre Brust berührt und der oberste eine Fackel trägt. Von der rechten Seite her naht der Schlagenwagen der suchenden Demeter/Ceres mit Fackel. Im Wagen fährt Trepidatio mit, die sich nach der Göttin umsieht. Weiter links in der Mitte fährt Pluto/Hades ein Gespann zur linken Seite hin. Hier hat er Proserpina bereits geraubt. Ein kleiner Amor lenkt den Wagen. Die Pferde donnern über die am Boden liegenden, bzw. auftauchenden Gestalten des Cerberus, des Ianitor Orci und der Tellus hinweg. Hinter den Pferden Venus, die einen Granatapfel in die Luft hält. Links vor den Pferden Merkur mit Mantel. Ganz links steht Minerva, die Proserpina einen Zauberzweig zeigt, der ihr den Eintritt in die Unterwelt gestattet, aber zugleich auch als Zeichen für die Rückkehr gelten kann.
