Fries: Le sacrifice du Censeur a lieu auprès de la grande “Ara Martis in Campo”; Ares lui-même est présent pour l’accueillir, debout à gauche de l’autel. De l’autre côté le Censeur, assisté par deux serviteurs, est accomplit une libation. Derrière lui, des serviteurs amènent les animaux (suovetaurilia) pour le sacrifice. Derrière Mars, deux musiciens. Aux extremités de la scène d’autres figures.

R. girlandengeschmückter Altar in Übereckansicht. Es handelt sich um einen rechteckigen, monolithen Altar mit einem halbkugeligen Schutzdach nach Art eines Bäckerofens.
