Description: relief, relief – Material: marble – Dating: -27/14 – Discovery: Sorrento – Description: Thronende Vesta (flankiert von Salus und Flora?), hinter ihr Pfeiler mit Tieranathemen (Stier und Widder) und Rundtempel in flachem Relief (zwei ionische Säulen, Gebälk, kegelförmiges, vom oberen Bildrand abgeschnittenes Dach mit Längsrippung). Palladion zwischen den Säulen. Wohl der Vestatempel auf dem Forum (andere Deutungen: Vestatempel in domo Palatino). Frontseite: Vestakult – hier opfert der (verlorene) pontifex maximus Augustus, begleiet von Vestalinnen vor der thronenden Göttin (Szene bezieht sich auf seine Neuordnung des stadtrömischen Vesta-Kultes 12. v. Chr.)
