Zwei Satyrn, von rechts zu Mitte hin wandelnd, schwingen ihre Äxte gegen eine aus dem Boden auftauchende weibliche Gestalt mit kurzen Haaren und Peplos, die versucht, einen hinter ihr stehenden Baum (ohne Belaubung) mit erhobenem Arm zu schützen. Weiter links ein dritter Satyr mit schütterem Haar, der die Szene verfolgt und die beiden Baumfäller anzutreiben scheint.
