Description: votive relief, relief, Greece – Material: marble – Dating: -325/-300 – Discovery: (not specified) – Description: Apollo (mostly lost) standing l. behind an altar (rechteckiger Block in Übereckansicht, Basis, Deckplatte), holding a kithara. Worshippers, as far as preserved, include two men (plus traces of a third) and two children. Servant with kanoun, leading a sheep. For the figure of Apollo Kitharoidos cf. LIMC II Apollon 145b*, another fragmentary votive relief that probably showed a similar processional scene.
