Description: statue, sculpture in the round, Attica – Material: marble – Dating: -430/-420 – Discovery: Rhamnous (Attica)Sanctuary of Nemesis – Description: Marmorstatue der Nemesis, Kultbild des Nemesis-Heiligtums von Rhamnus. Die in Fragmenten erhaltene und bei Paus. 1, 33, 3 beschriebene Statue hielt einen Apfelzweig und eine Phiale. Die Phiale war mit Aithiopen, Reihen von getriebenen Negerköpfen, verziert. Solche Phialen sind sowohl in den Akropolis-Inventaren erwähnt, als auch im Original erhalten.

Description: Nolan amphora, vase painting, red figured, Attica – Material: terracotta – Artist: Nikon Painter – Dating: -470/-460 – Discovery: unknown – Description: (A): Bärtige, Herme auf Basis, nach links gewandt, Kopf und Phallos bekränzt, davor ein Altar (Basis, verzierte Deckplatte, Volutenaufsatz). Auf dem Altar liegt ein Kranz. An die Armbosse der Herme ist ein Zweig angesetzt worden, Inschrift auf Hermenschaft#(B): Eine nach links eilende Frau hält bzw. in der rechten Hand eine Oinochoe und in der linken Hand eine Phiale. Sie wendet sich zurück zur Herme.
