Auf dem Füllhorn sitzt Plutos (nach links gerichtet), den Kopf und den Oberkörper zurückgewandt sowie die Hände zu Demeter ausgestreckt, die rechts von Ge und Plutos in Dreiviertelansicht nach links steht, mit Szepter in der rechten Hand. Rechts von ihr steht der Dadouchos (Keryx, Eubouleus, Iakchos oder Eumolpos), den Kopf nach links zurückgewandt mit je einer Fackel in der Hand. Links von Ge ist Kore in Dreiviertelansicht (nach links gerichtet) mit zurückgewandtem Kopf zu sehen, die in jeder Hand eine Fackel trägt. Links von ihr eine nach rechts gewandte Frau (Eileithyia). Obere Zone: Über Ge ist Triptolemos auf dem Flügelwagen mit Schlangen dargestellt, in seinem linken Arm ein Szepter, in der linken Hand eine Phiale, in der rechten eine Ähre. Description: pelike, vase painting, red figured, Attica – Material: terracotta – Artist: Pan Painter – Dating: -500/-475 – Discovery: unknown – Description: Seite A: Dionysos lehrt Ikarios, ein Schaf (oder eine Ziege ?) zu opfern: auf der Rechten Seite Dionysos mit einem Messer in der Hand (der Haltung nach eher eine Präsentation als die Durchführung eines Stiches), im Hintergrund eine Art Szepter mit Palmettenabschluss, vielleicht die Rückenlehne eines Thrones. Links Ikarios mit Bart und aufwendig gearbeitetem Gewand, die Rechte nach unten weisend, mit der er das Opfertier festhält. Vom Opfertier ist nur ein Teil des Halses erhalten. Auf der linken Seite schliessen sich eine nach Trauben greifende Maenade und ein kleiner Satyr an. Die gesamte Ikonographie deutet Robertson als Übergabe des Weines an die Menschen und die Anleitung zum Opfer als Gegenleistung. Seite B: Abfahrt des Trioptolemos (bekränzt) auf einem geflügelten Wagen, vor ihm Demeter mit Mauerkrone, die die Hand zu ihm ausstreckt, um ihm Getreideähren zu überreichen; hinter ihm Kore mit einer Kanne, aus der sie Wein (rote Flüssigkeit) ausgiesst (Libation). – Dimensions: H: 30,3 cm; B: 28,2 cm
