Description: crater: column crater, vase painting, red figured, Attica – Material: terracotta – Artist: Pan Painter – Dating: -460/- Discovery: Kyme, Cumae – Description: Opfer vor einer Herme (frontal, ithyphallisch, Armstümpfe, bärtiger Kopf, Haarkranz von Buckellocken) auf zweistufiger Basis: während rechts ein splanchnoptes einen dreiteiligen obelos über das Feuer hält, steht links ein Bärtiger, der sich mit einer Hand auf einen Stab stützt am Altar (rechteckiger Block-A. auf Basis, oberer Abschluss mit Kymatien verziert, Volutenaufsatz, Feuerschutz) und libiert mit kylix in die Flammen. Im Hintergrund steht ein weiterer Jüngling, der ein grosses kanoun auf der Schulter aufgestützt trägt. Am rechten Bildrand steht angelehnt ein weiterer obelos. Seite B: Komos (Umzug mit Musik und Tanz).
