De l’autre côté le Censeur, assisté par deux serviteurs, est accomplit une libation. Derrière lui, des serviteurs amènent les animaux (suovetaurilia) pour le sacrifice. Derrière Mars, deux musiciens. Description: stele, relief, Bithynia – Material: marble – Dating: -119 – Discovery: Apamea – Description: Die in Tirilye bei Apameia/Propontis gefundene Stele wurde von den Thiasitai und Thiasitides zu Ehren der Priesterin Stratonike für Apollon und Meter Kybele aufgestellt. Im oberen Bildfeld opfert Stratonike vor beiden Göttern. Apollon steht neben einem Altar, auf dem er eine Libation ausgiesst, rechts von ihm sitzt Kybele auf einem Thron, von links nähern sich drei Adoranten: ein Knabe mit Widder, eine Priesterin und ein Flötenspieler. Das untere Register zeigt elf Mitglieder des Thiasos mit Schalen in den Händen zum Kultmahl versammelt. Unter ihnen drei Diener: Der l. bringt einen länglichen, schwer erkennbaren Gegenstand – eher eine amphora als ein Korb (Vermaseren) oder eine Schüssel (skaphe). Der mittlere, der mit einem Krug aus einem Kelchkrater schöpft, wendet sich ihm zu ? vielleicht in Erwartung neuen Weines. Der r. Diener hebt den Deckel eines rundbodigen Kessels mit abgesetztem Randstreifen hoch, in dem er mit einer langen Kelle (toryne) rührt. Das Rühren, der Deckel und die Form des Kessels deuten auf eine lopas. Hinter dieser folgt ein tiefer lebes mit kurzen Randhenkeln, am r. Rand lehnen zwei fleischbestückte obeloi.

Description: stele, relief, Bithynia – Material: marble – Dating: -119 – Discovery: Apamea – Description: Die in Tirilye bei Apameia/Propontis gefundene Stele wurde von den Thiasitai und Thiasitides zu Ehren der Priesterin Stratonike für Apollon und Meter Kybele aufgestellt. Im oberen Bildfeld opfert Stratonike vor beiden Göttern. Apollon steht neben einem Altar, auf dem er eine Libation ausgiesst, rechts von ihm sitzt Kybele auf einem Thron, von links nähern sich drei Adoranten: ein Knabe mit Widder, eine Priesterin und ein Flötenspieler. Das untere Register zeigt elf Mitglieder des Thiasos mit Schalen in den Händen zum Kultmahl versammelt. Unter ihnen drei Diener: Der l. bringt einen länglichen, schwer erkennbaren Gegenstand – eher eine amphora als ein Korb (Vermaseren) oder eine Schüssel (skaphe). Der mittlere, der mit einem Krug aus einem Kelchkrater schöpft, wendet sich ihm zu ? vielleicht in Erwartung neuen Weines. Der r. Diener hebt den Deckel eines rundbodigen Kessels mit abgesetztem Randstreifen hoch, in dem er mit einer langen Kelle (toryne) rührt. Das Rühren, der Deckel und die Form des Kessels deuten auf eine lopas. Hinter dieser folgt ein tiefer lebes mit kurzen Randhenkeln, am r. Rand lehnen zwei fleischbestückte obeloi.

In der Linken hält er ein Szepter. Neben ihm sitzt ein Adler am Boden. Im unteren Bereich sitzt der Dedikant Euodion. An einem brennenden Altar (zwei stufiges Podest und Deckplatte) schwingt ein Opferdiener eine Doppelaxt, um einen Stier zu töten. Von rechts nähert sich adorierend ein Mann und ein Knabe mit Weintraube. Links steht eine junge Frau mit zwei Girlanden in der Hand und ein Mädchen mit einem Kanoun voller Früchte. – Inscriptions: kathos ekeleusen
