A-Seite: Klage der Kassandra: Oberes Register: Szene im Heiligtum: Kassandra liegt in Hekabes Schoss in der herabhängenden Linken ein Lorbeerzweig. Über den beiden hängen 2 Phialen an der Wand. Links vor Kassandra steht ein mit einem Stemma geschmückter Dreifuss auf einer ionischen Säule. Links davon steht Priamos mit Tiara und Adlerszepter. Am Boden liegen Hydria, Kanne und zwei Omphalesphialen. Rechts von Hekabe befindet sich ein Trojaner (Paris ?), in der Rechten eine Trompete, in der Linken 2 Speere über ihm hängt ein Bukranion mit Stemma an der Wand. Rechts daneben steht Helenos (?), der sich an eine dorische Säule des Heiligtums lehnt und eine Zweig mit Stemma trägt. Er blickt einem Adler mit Schlange in den Fängen nach. Zwischen den beiden Registern steht ein weiterer Trojaner. Unteres Register: und Hektors Abschied: Wagen mit Wagenlenker. Dahinter Hektor, der sich von seinem Kind verabschiedet, dass eine Amme auf dem Arm hält. Zwischen ihnen steht eine Schnabelkanne. Dahinter frag. Andromache. B-seite: Grabnaiskos.

Links vor Kassandra steht ein mit einem Stemma geschmückter Dreifuss auf einer ionischen Säule. Links davon steht Priamos mit Tiara und Adlerszepter. Am Boden liegen Hydria, Kanne und zwei Omphalesphialen. Rechts von Hekabe befindet sich ein Trojaner (Paris ?), in der Rechten eine Trompete, in der Linken 2 Speere über ihm hängt ein Bukranion mit Stemma an der Wand. Each participant is carefully posed and made subservient to the central warrior, upon whom all eyes are fastened. Neoptolemos, whether brandishing child or sword, affects the same equalized, static pose. Even the column and generous base of the altar, now raised upon two steps, add to the feeling of immobile stability.

Each participant is carefully posed and made subservient to the central warrior, upon whom all eyes are fastened. Neoptolemos, whether brandishing child or sword, affects the same equalized, static pose. Even the column and generous base of the altar, now raised upon two steps, add to the feeling of immobile stability.
