Description: crater: volute crater, vase painting, red figured, Attica – Material: terracotta – Artist: Bologna 279 – Dating: -460/-450 – Discovery: Spina – Description: Seite A Schulter: Herakles (mit Pfeil und Bogen) und Bousiris vor einem rechteckigen Blockaltar (dreistufige Basis, Altarkörper mit Metopen-Triglyphendekor, Kyma, Volutenaufsatz, Epipyron). Bousiris hält in de Linken der Opfermesser, die Rechte ist ausgestreckt nach hinten, der Kopf zu Herakles zurückgewandt. Links und rechts je drei fliehende Aithiopes mit Kultgegenständen; links eine kithara, obeloi, eine Schale und ein kanoun (mit Trieben an den Seitenwänden), ganz am Rand steht ein Dreifuss – rechts zwei Stäbe (dünne Fackeln?), an der Wand ein Messeretui.
