Rechts und links fliehen je zwei Ägypter, die ein Messer, eine Doppelaulos und ein Hasenfell (?) tragen. Vor dem Altar auf dem Boden liegt ein flacher kanoun. Seite B: Zweikampf Achill gegen Memnon: Auf der linken Seite steht Hermes (mit caduceus und Flügelschuhen) mit der Seelenwaage flankiert von Achill und Memnon in voller Rüstung. Auf der rechten Seite stehen Eos und Thetis mit ausgestreckten Armen vor dem thronenden Götterpaar Zeus und Hera, um für ihre Söhne zu bitten.
