Vorn Eckpilaster an den Seitenmauern der Cella; Giebel ornamental dekoriert, Palmettenakrotere. Mauerwerk und Dachziegeln sind deutlich angegeben. Innen 2 Penaten-Figuren. Das schlichte Sakralgebäude passt zum Charakter dieser sonst gewöhnlich innerhalb von Wohnhäusern und weniger in Tempeln verehrten Gottheiten. Seine Einfachheit steht auch im Einklang mit weiteren Darstellungen bukolisch-idyllischer Themen kombiniert mit ländlichen Schreinen, wie sie in der frühen Kaiserzeit besonders beliebt waren. Die Sujets dienen der Glorifizierung des Landlebens und sollen die glücklichen Zustände einer aurea aetas vermitteln.

Hinter der Säule und der Tafel ein Satyr, der ein Mädchen küsst. Unten tanzender Satyr, zwei zuschauende Satyrn, eine mit Binden umwickelte viereckige Kiste (v. Steuben: Opferkorb), Thyrsos und Priaposherme.#Als Satyrspiel gedeutet.

Hinter der Vorhalle sind ein Teil der Cellawand und der geöffneten Eingangstür sichtbar. Vom figürlich verzierten Giebel (Lupa mit den Zwillingen, Mars, Rea Silvia) ist ebenfalls nur die l. Hälfte erhalten. L. noch Ansatz der Langseite des Tempels und des perspektivisch wiedergegebenen Daches erkennbar. Die Benennung des Vorbildes dieses Zehnsäulers ist umstritten (s. die Diskussion der Vorschläge ausführlich bei Quante-Schöttler; Grunow)
