While the women are standard figure types for processions, the men in front are sacrificers shown immediately before the killing of the bull, which is depicted with its head bent down. Die beiden stehen mit Ziegenbock gemeinsam an einem Altar mit gekurvtem in der Mitte stark eingezogenen Profil, auf dem ein Feuer brennt. Menerva hält eine kleine runde Büchse und berührt mit der rechtern Hand das Horn des Bocks. Möglicherweise entsteht dieser Eindruck aber nur durch eine perspektivische Überschneidung und Menervas Geste weist eher auf das Streuen von Weihrauch ins brennende Feuer. Hercle hält mit der Linken den Bock am Hornansatz und im rechten Arm seine Keule. Neben ihm züngelt eine Schlange. Im Hintergrund stehen Bäume.
