Description: Intaglio, gem – Material: cornelian – Dating: -50/-1 – Discovery: (not specified) – Description: Diomedes, seduto su un altare (Übereckansicht, Randprofile, Aufschrift, mit Girlande geschmückt), tiene nella sinistra il Palladion. Di fronte a lui Odysseus che, con un cenno della destra, sembra attirare l’attenzione del compagno sulla figura (sacerdote, guardia) distesa a terra. Sullo sfondo un’alta colonna sulla quale è posta una statua di Poseidon. Più lontano le mura di Troia.
